Bronze garden sculpture commissioned for a loving family

This one-off commissioned  bronze sculpture of Moulin, was created after her passing and I studies images and talked to the client to how she was as a character.

I always start with a maquette (small model), for me to get to grips with the piece. The client approves the piece at this stage and then I can proceed to making the full-scale sculpture. In this instance Moulin was 1 metre in length and I decided to introduce a name disc that I embedded above my signature in Moulin's thigh.

Something reather unique, I took Moulins ashes and embedded them into a clay Boneo and it turned into a solid brick that is within the final bronze sculpture in the garden.

In addition, the client loved the maquette so much that she decided to create for bronze maquettes, one for each of her childeren.

Moulin lives on in the hearts and lives of a wonderful family.

If you have an animal that means something to you, please get in touch to discuss how I can capture it forever.
