Overview

“Stephen’s sculptures have a distinct textural quality that lend themselves superbly to gardens.”   Diarmuid Gavin

There is something wonderfully unexpected about finding a little bronze mouse perched on a ball in a garden.

Mouse On A Ball is one of Stephen’s most loved and successful sculptures, with collectors around the world drawn to its character, texture and sense of playful discovery. Designed to sit naturally within a garden setting, it has a presence that reveals itself from different angles as you move around it.

Stephen was recently invited by renowned garden designer Diarmuid Gavin to exhibit Mouse On A Ball within his Oceânico garden at the Chelsea Flower Show. The sculpture was positioned beneath the central tree canopy, where it quickly attracted attention from visitors.

Stephen returned to Chelsea with eight bronze sculptures, building a lasting connection with the show and introducing his work to many new private and commercial collectors.

The sculpture is available as a limited edition of just nine bronzes, with five already placed in collections worldwide.

“One of the most rewarding aspects of sculpture design is seeing the enjoyment in people’s reactions as they pass by and discover the characters I have created.”

With only four mice left to cast, it's advised that a purchase is recommended and to be an owner of only nine pieces around the world.
